2012 ASA Open Water Swimming Women's Collegiate National Champions Texas A&M gives the thumbs up to their performances.

Incarnate Word teammates,  Thiago Pecinxine and Conrado Chede, race each other for the lead heading across the main basin
of Lake Travis on the way to the last turn buoy before the final 500 m race to the finish.  Pecinxine finished first,
Chede 2nd and Incarnate Word, Connor Hennessy finished third leading Incarnate Word to their
first ASA Collegiate Team National Championship. 
Trinity University finished 2nd.  Savannah College of Art and Design was third.
